The Government of Israel is accused of rigging pagers, solar panels, and walkie-talkies with explosives. The result is over a dozen deceased and thousands injured. Media reports state that Hezbollah fighters ordered the pagers as a more secure way of communication over the cell phone. All of the devices detonated at one time, in waves. The pagers were the first to blow.
A video circulating on social media shows one man’s pager exploding in a market, injuring random people near him. The electronic devices, specifically the pagers, featured Taiwanese branding. So, the initial thought process was that Israel conspired with Taiwan to install explosives in the devices before shipping. The Taiwanese company responded by saying that although the devices feature their branding, the Hungarians in Budapest actually manufactured them.
