Prince George’s County, Maryland police officer Francesco Marlett has been suspended after a video of him kissing a woman in uniform and in his squad car went viral. The young man who recorded the video said that the officer’s squad car pulled up in the park where they were playing soccer. The vehicle parked and as the officer got out, a woman got out of her parked car as well. The two began to kiss and eventually went to the back seat of the squad car. The witness says the officer and the woman remained in the vehicle for about 30 to 40 minutes. Also, according to the witness, the vehicle began to rock back and forth while the two were inside.
For such activities to take place at a park in broad daylight in a squad car is obviously out of bounds. Officer Francesco Marlett is also married and the individual in the video is not his wife. The wife has spoken out and said that the mistress, who she named “Virginia Pinto”, can “go to hell.” Marlett has been in the news before after allegations of him attacking his then-girlfriend’s 3-year-old son and rendering him unconscious. He was able to strike a deal that avoided jail time and allowed him to retain his job. Marlett may not be so lucky to keep his job this go-around.
