A Gucci store was hit by armed robbers in broad daylight at 12 noon in the Meatpacking District of New York City. The costly luxury brand retail location is not necessarily the place one would expect to find gunmen ordering terrified patrons to the ground. People were shocked, and onlookers on the outside of the store could not believe their eyes when watching thieves wheel stolen luggage down the sidewalk to the waiting getaway car. Two of the three suspects were wearing masks covering their faces. The third person, a woman, was not wearing any disguise or facial obfuscation. As of the writing of this article, the suspects are still at large.
