NYC Mayor Eric Adams Wants Residents To House Illegal Aliens In Their Apartments

NYC Mayor Eric Adams announced a dramatic measure to pay residents for housing illegal aliens in their homes. The plan will pay about $125 a night to residents who voluntarily take in migrants. A housing crunch amid 45,000 illegal aliens flooding the city was named as a reason for this proposal. Eric Adams also said that placing the migrants closer to the population will help them to better integrate into the city. Critics of the program cite the safety of other people in, for example, an apartment building where illegal aliens will live.

There have already been problems with migrants abusing the hotel system, nearly destroying buildings after just one year of being there. Then, of course, there is the specter of communism. Other nations, such as Cuba, also did such measures of having residents house people who should not necessarily be there. The housing program went from being voluntary to a requirement. The same thing could happen in New York City as the migrant “crisis” shows no signs of slowing down.
