Paul Pelosi has testified in the hammer attack/ home invasion case against David DePape. Pelosi was attacked last year at his San Francisco home that he shares with his wife, former US Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. DePape says he targeted Nancy, but she was not home. And since she wasn’t home, there was no security detail present. This allowed DePape to use a hammer to break the glass at the rear entrance of the home to gain entry. Paul Pelosi was somehow able to call the police while being confronted by DePape. Massive confusion spread on social media when police released body camera footage that contradicted prior statements they made. Paul Pelosi and David DePape’s testimony (along with newly-released video) has clarified some things, but there are still many questions that have gone unanswered.
