President Donald Trump spoke at the 2024 Libertarian convention to reach out. He was not greeted with the warmest of welcomes. During his speech, he was loudly booed. The boos became even more voluminous when he asked the crowd if they would nominate him as their candidate. Obviously, the Libertarian party always has someone from their camp as the candidate, so that comment didn’t go over very well. Trump, being the quick-witted guy he is, had a fantastic comeback. He stated that they should nominate him if they want to win, but if they don’t, then don’t and be satisfied with the 3% of the vote they get every four years.
