Russia Says Moscow Concert Hall Shooters Were Headed To Ukraine Before Capture

A mass shooting has taken place in Moscow, Russia, at a concert hall. As of the writing of this article, 133 lives were claimed during the incident. A total of eleven people were arrested, including four shooters. Russian President Vladimir Putin says all of the alleged assailants were headed to Ukraine to meet with contacts there. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy rebuffs claims that this shooting involved Ukraine.

The official position from Ukraine and the United States is that ISIS-K is responsible for the attack. White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby says the US warned Russia and Americans residing in Russia of a pending attack in Moscow. The advice was to avoid concert halls and shopping malls.
