Sam Bankman-Fried, the former CEO of crypto exchange firm FTX, appeared at an online event put on by the New York Times for an extremely awkward interview. The New York Times DealBook/Summit hosted conversations with a variety of people from all corners of life. Apple boss Tim Pool was in attendance along with Meghan Markle. Former Vice President Mike Pence was on the list of invited guests. It was truly a “diverse” crowd of people. Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) was one guest that particularly stood out due to the current controversy surrounding him. Some would make the argument that he should be in a federal prison somewhere instead of giving apology speeches with Andrew Ross Sorkin of CNBC.
