Hollywood actress Sharon Stone insulted Americans who voted for President Trump during a recent talk at an event. The 66-year-old actress stated that America is a young nation going through “ignorant adolescence.” She then went on to say that as a result, many Americans are uneducated and untraveled. She capped off the elitist point of view about education and travel with a quip about 80% of Americans not possessing a passport.
Her remarks are an extension of the same sorts of insults that come from the mainstream media every day. They create divides between Americans by casting people who vote differently away. They consistently belittle and dehumanize Trump supporters. Then, they gaslight everyone into thinking that it is the Trump supporters who created the division, and not them although they pump division into the airwaves and internet 24/7.
