Rapper/singer Tory Lanez has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting rapper Megan Thee Stallion. This incident took place in 2020 after a party at Kendall Jenner’s house. There was allegedly a drunken argument between Tory Lanez (Daystar Peterson), and Megan Thee Stallion (Megan Pete) after they left the party in a vehicle. There were reportedly other people in the car, including Megan’s female friend. Megan wound up exiting the vehicle for some reason and this is where things went bad.
Megan says that Tory Lanez allegedly shot at her feet and said “dance, b****!” Her foot was shot (grazed) as a result. It is not clear if this was a result of ricochet action or not. Either way, she was transported to a hospital where she was treated for her wounds. Initial reports said that she stepped on glass and that there was no gun involved. However, as evidence and witnesses came forward, the sequence of events became clear. Tory Lanez even admitted to handling the gun while drunk, which is a crime in itself. Some fans of Lanez maintain his innocence, saying that Megan Pete lied because of a romantic dispute.
