President Trump introduced the “1776 Commission” to promote patriotic education during a speech at the National Archives. Radical far-leftist ideas like “critical race theory” have infested all areas of education from kindergarten through college and corporate work environments. Some work environments are not even corporate like the random Goodyear factory that pushed their version of “CRT.”
Critical Race Theory is a multi-faceted beast of an ideology. Every meme on the internet about race being an omnipotent force that cannot be crushed is verified by so-called “experts” who teach “CRT.” Racist concepts like the idea of “white privilege” and “white supremacy” are verified through CRT. This “woke” concept also brings us a concept called “unconscious bias.” Mostly all of the videos about unconscious bias online say the same thing.
The idea behind CRT is that the human brain works in ways that people cannot detect. This means that one must “train” their brain to remove any unconscious bias that they may have against a person of another race. Basically, white people must admit that they are in fact, racist, even if they aren’t, because their subconscious brain is. And once white people admit their bias and racism, then they can be “fixed” into a non-racist and inclusive person. Ideas like that get taught at workshops at workplaces around the country. Sounds more like an indoctrination camp than a workshop.
The name “1776 Commission” alone is an excellent way to combat misinformation from the “1619 Project.” The New York Times’ Nikole Hannah-Jones created the “1619 Project” in an attempt to reshape the way America sees it’s own history. Rather than look at the United States as a nation with an imperfect history as all nations are, Jones wants the viewer and/or reader to view American history strictly through the lens of race. 1619 is the year that the first slaves from Europe were brought to Point Comfort, Virginia (Hampton).
Critical Race Theory in all of its forms including “unconscious bias” training, propaganda films like Ava DuVernay’s “13th,” and Hannah Nikole-Jones “The 1619 Project” are dangerous to the United States. The President’s move to create the 1776 Commission appears like an effort to stop dangerous propaganda from setting root into America. An entire generation is in danger of being lost if the left is successful in poisoning the mind of the young before they have a chance to properly develop.
