Usher Refuses To Get Overly Political On “The View” Daytime TV Show

R&B singer Usher appeared on “The View” for an interview to discuss various topics, including politics. The “Yeah!” singer did not shy away from his preferred candidate in the 2024 Presidential race. He has already publicly announced his support for Kamala Harris and did so again on the show. However, during the conversation, The View host Joy Behar attempted to make him go deeper with his political opinion. She stated that more artists should speak up for Kamala because Donald Trump is an “existential threat to our country.” Usher did not take the bait and became an overnight political headline; instead, he offered his opinion that voting was a personal choice. The hosts on the panel and even the audience clearly did not like his answer, although he stated he was voting for Kamala before the question.
