Vivek Ramaswamy And Ron DeSantis Were GOP Debate Standouts But Still Lag Far Behind Donald Trump

Vivek Ramaswamy and Ron DeSantis were standouts at the first GOP Presidential Primary Debate from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. However, President Donald Trump is still the far-and-away leader of the GOP Presidential hopefuls by a large margin. He was not present at the debate and instead opted for a pre-recorded interview with Tucker Carlson on X (formerly Twitter) which debuted at the same time as the debate. Much of the internet was divided between watching the two different shows. As of the writing of this article, the Tucker/Trump interview has over 200 million views. It is not clear how many people tuned in to the GOP debate on Fox.
