Yevgeny Prigozhin, leader of the Wagner Mercenary Group, is presumed dead after a plane crash in Russia. A group on the social media platform called “Telegram” says the plane was shot down by defense forces. The same social media group refers to the attack as being carried out by “Russian traitors.” If this deadly plane crash was done on purpose and targeted Prigozhin, then there is no surprise. Russian President Vladimir Putin has a reputation for handing out severe penalties against those who cross him and/or his country.
