An 8-year-old boy went on a high-speed chase after carjacking someone for their vehicle in Alabama. The event took place at 11am on July 14th, 2023 in Montgomery. The unidentified boy also picked up two adults while in the carjacked vehicle. When police finally caught the boy and stopped the vehicle, a gun was discovered. He was taken to the Montgomery County Youth Detention Facility and charged with first-degree robbery, attempting to elude and certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm.
