Jen Psaki Suggests Angry Americans Have A Margarita

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki appeared on “The View” and suggested that angry Americans “have a margarita”. She also said that this anger should be channeled into kickboxing. The context behind her strange comments was the issue of voting rights. The current administration has not had success with the ambitious bills that were promised or alluded to on the campaign trail. One of the key issues here is “securing” the right to vote.

President Biden spoke before the country from the East Room of the White House. What should have been a routine press conference became sort of a “State of the Union” address due to how rarely Biden actually speaks to the media while allowing questions. A question about voting rights legislation was thrown in Biden’s direction. This was his response:

“Well, it all depends on whether or not we’re able to make the case to the American people that some of this is being set up to try to alter the outcome of the election. … I think if, in fact — no matter how hard they make it for minorities to vote, I think you’re going to see them willing to stand in line and — and defy the attempt to keep them from being able to vote. I think you’re going to see the people who they’re trying to keep from being able to show up, showing up and making the sacrifice that needs to make in order to change the law back to what it should be.”

To say that Joe Biden completely fumbled here would be a monumental understatement. His convoluted answer to the voting rights question has been widely interpreted as questioning the legitimacy of the 2022 election. Jen Psaki then had to appear on shows like “The View” for damage control. Psaki not only had to clean up what the President said by both tweeting and appearing on television, but she also had to answer for the lack of progress on other promised legislation.

Biden’s approval rating is sinking lower and lower by the day. The only question left is … how much lower does the confidence in a sitting President get before he is removed or deemed as a lame duck? One year of office producing such a lack of confidence is not a great sign for tomorrow. But only time will truly tell.
