Fani Willis Won’t Have To Testify In Nathan Wade’s Divorce Case Yet

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis won’t have to testify in Nathan Wade’s divorce proceedings yet. This news comes after an emergency hearing on Monday, January 22nd, 2024. The beleaguered D.A. was initially subpoenaed to testify by attorneys for Nathan Wade’s wife, Jocelyn Wade. Fani may, however, have to testify in the case, but only after Nathan Wade testifies about their alleged relationship first. The judge ruled that anything Fani Willis would know about an improper relationship between herself and Nathan would be known by Nathan.

Jocelyn and Nathan have been embroiled in a contentious divorce since November 2021. Coincidentally (or not), Nathan Wade filed for divorce from his wife the day after he was appointed as Special Prosecutor in the Election Interference case involving Donald Trump and over a dozen other defendants.

One of Trump’s co-defendants, Michael Roman, filed a motion on January 8 alleging an improper relationship between Nathan and Fani. If all of the allegations surrounding the January 8th filing are true, then the entire Fulton County District Attorney’s office could be removed from the case, damaging its integrity.
