Americans Are Fleeing To Mexico For Cheaper Food And Gas

Americans are fleeing to Mexico in search of cheaper food and gas prices. Retailers in Tijuana have reported a 20 to 30% increase in daytime tourism from American shoppers. Mexico is a poor country and has a long reputation for having cheaper items. Especially when it comes to prescription drugs and medical care in general. Americans have visited Mexico for a very long time for this reason.

However, the recent economic downturn in America caused by massive inflation due to money-printing has increased the volume of Americans visiting Mexico. Reports coming from Mexico City suggest that so many Americans are moving to the city that it is actually creating a problem with gentrification. All of this is happening while the Biden administration insists that there is no recession and that the economy is doing very well.

  3. ^spoken like a true halfwit crybaby mooch. me me me. enjoy your miserable life you dbag. you earned it. btw mines just grand! ha

  4. the real problem here is that most if not all of those goods are fake, stolen, expired, and require import tax and fees paid upon reentry. enjoy your trip! LOL

  5. The income level and cost of living is about 1/4 that of the USA. As far as I am aware, you cant legally bring fresh produce, meats, or any other unsealed products across the border. What is allowed, which isn’t much, requires a receipt and import duty payment upon arrival or it will be disposed of. Add to that your transportation costs and excessive amount of time dealing with border patrol at the crossings, is it worth it? Absolutely not. No story here.
