Black Lives Matter (BLM) activist Quintez Brown has been arrested for shooting at Louisville, Kentucky Mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg. According to Greenberg, Brown was very direct with his approach before the shooting. Brown allegedly approached the office space where Greenberg was, pulled out a gun, aimed it directly at him, and fired multiple times. Luckily, Quintez Brown is a bad shot. Craig Greenberg was not hit by any of the bullets. Only his clothing was slightly grazed. The motive for this shooting has not been revealed as of the writing of this article.
Quintez Brown is a well-known social justice activist. He has traveled the country for various causes. Since he is from Louisville, of course, he has been a vocal opponent of the police in the Breonna Taylor case. Brown has written op-eds for news publications… including a hit piece against Second Amendment-loving Republicans. The irony of a gun control advocate shooting at a Mayoral candidate, then getting caught with a Glock 9mm pistol and several loaded magazines, is too much. This, unfortunately, is typical for many outspoken leftists. They do one thing while preaching about the total opposite.
One glance at Brown’s social media reveals that he may have gone down a dark ideological path. He started posting things that are typical of Black Identity Extremists (BIEs). Pictures of the Black Panther Party logo, typical pro-black rhetoric, and more. An example of a violent BIE is Micah Xavier Johnson. He was also into Black Lives Matter and other pro-black material. Johnson wound up shooting and killing several Dallas Police officers at a BLM rally. This is not to say that all people who could be identified as BIE would go and commit heinous acts. However, if someone that fits that type of profile does something out of the ordinary, nobody really says that they are surprised.
