Dollar Tree is raising the prices of its products yet again as it closes over 1,000 stores, most of which are underperforming Family Dollar locations. They famously raised the $1.00 price point to $1.25 in 2021 amid an inflationary environment partially caused by the pandemic. There is also a maximum price point for items in the store, previously $5. The new price points are $1.50 for at least 300 new items in the store, up to a whopping $7 maximum.
