ABC reporter and former Bill Clinton staffer George Stephanopoulos conducted one of the worst interviews of all time with South Carolina GOP Rep Nancy Mace. The interview may have been wide-ranging until one specific portion where Stephanopoulos brought up court decisions against President Trump. Mace previously went public about the sexual assault against her that happened at age 16. Stephanopoulos brought that up and asked her how she squared that with the fact that Trump has been found liable for sexually assaulting E. Jean Carroll.
Nancy Mace said that such a comparison boils down to shaming her for being assaulted. She also stated that the judgment against Trump regarding E. Jean Carroll does not compare because Trump was not convicted in a criminal court. There is also the Rachel Maddow interview in which Carroll was making jokes about the assault, saying that she would take Maddow shopping with the settlement money.
