Six Charges Dropped Against President Trump In Georgia RICO Case

Six charges have been dropped against President Donald Trump and several others in the Fulton County, Georgia, election interference RICO case. Judge Scott McAfee made the surprise announcement today amidst the drama surrounding Fani Willis and Nathan Wade. McAfee stated there isn’t enough “to allege sufficient detail regarding the nature of their commission.” In layman’s terms, McAfee says there isn’t enough in the complaint to constitute an actual crime.

The judge’s decision is not necessarily the end of the story. If the prosecution successfully appeals the judge’s decision, it has six months to re-file the charges. If Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is successfully disqualified from the case, the decision to drop certain charges may not be relevant, as the case could end immediately afterward.
