The student was away from the team at the time, playing a game in a different league out of town. The coach, a woman by the name of Arlisha Boykins, was shown clearly on a “highlight tape” of sorts that has gone viral. Her official title is “assistant coach” on the girl’s JV team. Boykins has been fired and both the Varsity and Junior Varsity Girls’ basketball teams at Churchland have forfeited the rest of their seasons.
