President Donald Trump’s Vice President pick, JD Vance, slammed Kamala Harris’s VP pick, Tim Walz, over some of his recent comments. Walz, the Governor of Minnesota, took the mic at Kamala’s recent rally in Philadelphia. He riled the crowd up with an energetic football coach style. Although his persona may appear likable to casual leftists, he is far from it. He taught in China and was in the country during the 1989 Tiananmen Square incident. He has made 30 official visits to China and has openly identified himself as a socialist.
Tim Walz’s 24-year career in the Army as a non-commissioned officer is also the issue. In 2005, his unit was shipped to Iraq. Instead of leading his unit into battle, he decided to retire so he could stay home. During the Philly speech, Walz said a few things related to his military experience and coming from small-town USA. JD Vance took exception to some of what he said and delivered a blistering response.
The Philadelphia rally was long rumored to be where Kamala would reveal her VP pick as Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro. Although he appeared as an opener, he is not yet part of the Kamala team in any fashion. CNN analyst Van Jone says Shapiro was skipped over due to the current issue of anti-semitism within the Democratic party.
