Les Gold of the “Hardcore Pawn” reality show appeared on Fox News to give the sobering reality of America’s economy under the Biden Administration. Gold’s family owns several American Jewelry and Loan pawn shops in the Detroit, Michigan, area. He stated that over the past six months, his customers have become more desperate for loans. Detroit and the metro area have had economic challenges for a while, but there has been an uptick. Gold also stated that he has spoken to other pawn shop owners across the country experiencing the same issue. People are more desperate for loans and use the money for week-to-week expenses such as food and gas.
