A self-proclaimed “raging liberal” from the “More Perfect Union” YouTube channel recently visited a Trump rally in Erie, Pennsylvania. His goal was to simply have conversations with people at the rally to see where they agreed and disagreed. The conversations were fairly surprising and civil. Although the interviewer was liberal, he asked more common sense and middle-of-the-road types of questions. He had an obvious angle, which was to push for labor unions. This was not necessarily rebuffed by the crowd of largely conservative Trump supporters, though. The episode published by More Perfect Union showed that conservatives and liberals may have more in common than most people think.
