Over 75 doctors staged a walkout at a South Florida hospital over the number of unvaccinated patients flooding the ICU. MSNBC was on-scene for this protest. Dozens of doctors were filmed wearing masks outside of the hospital. Two doctors were at a podium, unmasked, taking questions presumably from reporters. Another doctor was unmasked while participating in a live interview with MSNBC. All of the doctors had one unifying message – get vaccinated.
There are serious problems with the approach the doctors have taken in this case. The most obvious issue is the fact that there are still patients with other ailments aside from “the virus” who still need to be tended to. Unlike what the mainstream media would have the average person believe, there is still more than one way to become ill. And just because a doctor disagrees with the way that a person manages their own health does not mean that person should be denied treatment.
Hospitals are routinely filled beyond capacity with drug addicts, over-eaters, and violent criminals. If the logic from the Florida doctors was applied evenly and without political bias, then there wouldn’t be much of a need for doctors. The job of a doctor is not to judge people then treat them based on said judgment. Their job is to treat impartially. Sure, advice from a medical doctor is necessary. To refuse a patient treatment due to refusing to follow the advice is near criminal.
MSNBC says that 85% of Florida ICUs are filled to capacity. They also mention the rise in virus-positive patients flooding into hospitals. But what MSNBC fails to mention is the percentage of ICU beds that are filled with virus-positive patients. As stated earlier, there are a variety of ways that one may become ill and become admitted to ICU. Slanted reporting from a far-leftist news outlet like MSNBC is of no surprise. Medical doctors supporting a far-leftist narrative is somewhat of a surprise but more of a confirmation to vaccine-hesitant people. Why trust physicians who behave in a politically biased fashion?
