Pennsylvania Pastor Nearly Shot In Church During Sunday Service

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, area pastor Glenn Germany was nearly shot after a man brandished a firearm on him during Sunday service. 26-year-old Bernard Junior Polite smiled before he approached Germany. He walked right up to the pulpit, pulled a gun, and attempted to fire it. Luckily for everyone involved, the gun did not fire. God was certainly in the room on that day. An usher hopped up and tackled the man, successfully disarming him.

Police were called to the scene to arrest the gunman. As local police searched the gunman’s home, they found the body of a deceased man who had been shot to death. The deceased party’s relation to the gunman has not been revealed as of the writing of this article. Pastor Glenn Germany says this was a clear case of mental illness, and he forgives Bernard Junior.
