Several stores in Philadelphia were looted on Tuesday night, including Foot Locker, Lululemon, and an Apple Store. This was carried out by dozens of young people after a “non-violent” rally against police brutality. Philly police say that the looting was not directly related to the anti-police protest. The police say that groups of young people simply took advantage of the situation and swooped down upon the city to engage in lawlessness. At least 30 people have been arrested so far although many were obviously able to simply grab large quantities of items and escape without being bothered.
