Two Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department officers were ambushed and shot at point-blank range on September 12, 2020. The incident happened in Compton, California close to the metro station where the officers were on patrol duty. Both officers were sworn into the department just 14 months ago. One of the officers was seen on video calling for help after being shot directly in her jaw. The suspect is still on the run and there is currently a $100,000 reward for any information on their whereabouts. Luckily, both officers are alive and are expected to make a full recovery.
The apparently unprovoked attack on police officers comes as no surprise in the current anti-police climate that has rocked the nation. Liberal Democrat-run areas like Los Angeles have become more dangerous due to the anti-police rhetoric in city hall and on mainstream media. Crime is up all across the board from petty theft on up to assault and murder. Members of the community are also to blame here. One video shows a man who witnessed the shooting of the officers gleefully celebrating.
So-called “protesters” even showed up to the hospital to heckle and harass the wounded officers. Some of the “protesters” even attempted to block the ambulance from entering the hospital with chants of “we hope they die!” One man was parading around with a red, black, and green flag which is commonly associated with black racial organizations. In this case, the person could be a Black Identity Extremist which is the equivalent to White Supremacists.
It’s pretty clear what Black Lives Matter is all about and what type of chaos they have caused. There is no sense in differentiating between “black lives matter” and “BLM INC.” There is no difference. It is all the same. All of the “demonstrations” simply lead to death, destruction, and chaos. Proponents of BLM that are against BLM violence seem to join arms with those who say “no justice, no peace.” Which is exactly what a bystander to the officer shooting said in Compton.
