A racially motivated shooting at a Jacksonville, Florida Dollar General has claimed the lives of three people. One woman was shot several times in her vehicle outside and two more people were shot inside of the store. The shooter, 21-year-old Ryan Christopher Palmeter, then turned the gun on himself. The shooter had written three versions of a manifesto. One was for his parents, one was for the media, and another was for law enforcement. His intentions were crystal clear… he had a hatred for black people and wanted to hurt them. Police say that there is no evidence Palmeter acted as part of a group or in any organized fashion. Local law enforcement also says that there was nothing that would have prevented the 21-year-old from legally owning a gun.
