Rapper Cam’ron snapped at CNN reporter Abby Phillip during an interview about Sean “Diddy” Combs. CNN is the first place where the world saw Combs assaulting his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Cam’ron has been in and around the rap industry for over 20 years. So, maybe CNN thought it would be a good idea to bring him on to talk about Diddy, aka Puff Daddy.
The problem is that Cam’ron has a history of blowing up live and pre-recorded interviews. He has famous interactions with Bill O’Reilly and Anderson Cooper. Some people enjoyed those previous interviews, and others think he behaved in a child-like, embarrassing fashion. The CNN interview did not show much growth in Cameron Giles from the 2003 and 2007 interviews. After a short time, Giles became disinterested and annoyed with Phillip. He drank a “sex stimulant” live on the air to promote it. He was cut off the air shortly after the interview began to tank.
