The rapper known as “Plies” gave a cringeworthy defense for illegal immigrants on his social media platform. The two-minute video features quite a bit of cursing and criticism of people who are fed up with the migrant crisis. Plies says that instead of being “afraid” of “immigrants,” we should welcome them with open arms at the border. He also stated that Americans critical of the crisis are afraid that immigrants will come over here and show them what hard work looks like.
The Southern Border between the United States and Mexico is wide open, and tens of thousands of people pour across it almost daily. American citizens have been complaining about the lack of Federal Law enforcement on people who are clearly committing crimes. Cities, such as New York and Chicago, are being overrun by migrants. It has gotten so bad that some places are having to cut their budget to divert money to the migrants. The US House of Representatives estimates that the crisis has cost taxpayers $451 billion and counting.
