Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown removed his jersey and protective equipment then stormed off the field during the third quarter of a game. The Buccaneers were facing off against the New York Jets on the last game of the 2021-2022 season. Members of the coaching staff instructed Brown to enter the game and he repeatedly refused. This went on for a while until the coaching staff told him to leave the field. Brown then became visibly irritated on the sidelines and began to remove his jersey. One of his Buccaneers teammates attempted to calm him down but that was an exercise in futility. The resulting spectacle has essentially gone viral on the internet and it may be an unfortunate end to an otherwise great, yet checkered, career.
