Tim Ryan Gets Booed By Crowd During Ohio Townhall With JD Vance

Ohio Senate hopefuls Tim Ryan (D) and JD Vance (R) appeared at a Fox News Town Hall in Columbus, Ohio. The two candidates spent 30 minutes on stage each, separately, answering questions asked by two moderators. This Town Hall was done in the traditional format that includes a large crowd of potential constituents looking and listening. When JD Vance was on stage, he had a strong command of the issues and gave succinct answers that did not waver too far away from the original question. Tim Ryan, however, gave a lot of answers that would work inside the DC beltway, but not very well in a place like Columbus, Ohio. At one point, Ryan was even booed and jeered after his response to a question about January 6th.
