US Air Force Member Sets Himself On Fire In Support Of Palestine

A member of the United States Air Force set himself on fire and later died in front of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., on Sunday. The active-duty San Antonio, Texas, airman live-streamed himself casually walking up to the embassy in full uniform. He produced a liquid container and doused his head with an accelerant. The man, identified as 25-year-old Aaron Bushnell, ignited the accelerant and was engulfed in flames within seconds. He burned for nearly one minute before the flames were extinguished by nearby law enforcement, possibly police and Secret Service. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

As Aaron Bushnell burned during the Twitch livestream, he shouted “Free Palestine” in between groans of agony. Before he ignited himself, Bushnell said that he no longer wanted to be complicit in the genocide against the people of Palestine from Israel.
