Victim Of Viral Alabama Boat Brawl Charged With Assault

The Montgomery, Alabama boat co-captain from the wildly viral brawl has been charged with third-degree assault. The charges against Harriott II co-captain Dameion Pickett were filed in Montgomery Municipal Court on October 26. He is scheduled to be arranged on November 21. Pickett was assaulted after unmooring a pontoon boat from the dock to make way for his much larger party boat full of passengers. The Montgomery police and the Montgomery city attorney did not announce the charges publicly. It is not yet known why Pickett, who was labeled as the victim in this case in court documents, is being charged with any crime. Some would allege racism due to Alabama’s reputation. There is also a financial incentive due to court action being a revenue generator.
