Victoria’s Secret has abandoned its “woke” campaign in favor of a more old-school and sexy approach. The inclusive and odd runway shows featuring disabled, overweight, and trans people may end soon. Brand deals with celebrities like Megan Rapinoe of the US Women’s Soccer Team may also become unnecessary. This news comes on the heels of yet another disappointing financial report. The clothing company made 6.2 billion in 2023, which is 5% short of its earnings from 2022, and even lower than its 2020 earnings of 7.5$ billion. The company has released new marketing materials showing more traditional runway models instead of influencers who don’t really fit the model stereotype.
