Virginia Democratic politician Susanna Gibson has been outed over appearing on an adult website with her husband. She operated under the username “HotWifeExperience” on the website called “Chaturbate.” The business model of the website is simple. People sign up and stream to followers who tip them during the stream for various reasons. Usually, the streamers do specific things for tips or they simply put on a show and hope to get tips in return. This is all done publicly and there can be no expectation of privacy.
Although everything was done publicly, Susanna Gibson apparently expects her content to be private. She has responded to the “leak” of her streams from Chaturbate by likening it to “revenge porn.” Revenge porn is typically something that someone uploads to the internet without the consent of one or more parties involved. That cannot be the case here since both parties involved knowingly uploaded the content to the internet for money.
Gibson’s most recent content from the website was streamed at the end of September 2022. She announced her candidacy for the US House seat at the same time. It is not clear if she double-dipped, meaning she still created content while officially a candidate. She is running for the highly coveted U.S. House seat in Virginia’s 57th district, which covers parts of Henrico and Goochland Counties on the outskirts of Richmond.
