The White House is proposing the weather modification measure of blocking the sun to fight climate change. Such a measure would have the intended effect of eventually lowering the Earth’s surface temperature. This is sort of the reverse ideology that the U.S. Government held in the 1970s when climate change was considered “global cooling” before it became “global warming.”
Scientists back then wanted to take measures to actually heat the Earth up, including using nuclear weapons on the northern polar ice cap. This is the latest controversial climate change initiative to come from the Biden Administration. Certain states have gotten into the melee as well by doing things such as setting an end date for the sale of gas-powered cars. Both the Biden administration and certain liberal states have also begun pushing mass public transportation to eliminate the usage of cars altogether.
