Former President Donald Trump says that he will be arrested on Thursday, August 24th at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia. The infamous “Rice Street” jail will be where Trump gets fingerprinted and his mugshot will be taken. This is according to local authorities who may or may not renege on their word. Other jurisdictions where Trump faces other indictments have declined the option to take and release Trump’s mugshot, most likely due to the political implications. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis gave Trump and the 18 other people in the RICO indictment a Friday, August 25th deadline to voluntarily turn themselves in. It is not known if there will be extradition requests for people who refuse to abide by Willis’s deadline order.
