Biden Delays Menthol Ban Over Fear Of Losing Black Support

The Biden Administration has delayed a ban on menthol cigarettes over fear of losing black support ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election. In one of the most racist decisions of the past four years, President Joe Biden’s team is signaling that they will not enforce the menthol ban until after the 2024 election. The initial reason for the ban was the notion that Big Tobacco targets the black community with menthol flavoring and lower prices to increase addiction. However, since an election is looming, health concerns are being pushed aside to gain votes in that very same demographic.
