Black life only matters when a white person takes it. Granted, if a black person has friends and family that love them, they will care. Or at least… some of them will care. But when you zoom out and look at all incidents of a black person being shot, killed, or injured, the cases that stay in the news have something in common. All of those types of cases involve a white perpetrator and a black victim.
Facts don’t really matter in cases of a black victim and a white suspect. What matters more than anything is the narrative. And that narrative is of “racist white man” around every corner. Hunting down black people for fun. Which is just far from the reality of what’s going on. The largest enemy of black people is other black people. And it’s not even close.
