Call Of Duty Goes Full Woke Over This Tweet From Gamer Nickmercs

The Call Of Duty video game has found itself in hot water after punishing popular Twitch streamer Nickmercs over a simple tweet. Nickmercs is a very popular Call Of Duty player and co-owner of FazeClan, a professional gaming group that plays Counterstrike Global Offensive (CSGO). He casually responded to another gamer’s tweet about the recent protest in Glendale, California over the issue of LGBT indoctrination of children. His tweet simply stated “They should leave little children alone. That’s the real issue.”

Nickmercs’ tweet did not go over very well with supporters of the LGBT community. They called him homophobic and said that the tweet came from a place of ignorance. Call Of Duty punished him by removing his “operator” skin from the online store of both Call Of Duty “Warzone” and Modern Warfare II. Nickmercs appeared on stream to say that he did not mean to offend anyone, but he is not apologizing for the tweet or removing it. He thinks that he and his wife should be the ones that teach their children about such sensitive matters and not the school system.

The now-infamous tweet goes hand-in-hand with the parents who protested against Glendale’s school board. Parents, largely of Armenian and Hispanic descent, showed up to the school board meeting to express their grievances about LGBT “education” being given to their children without their consent. Another group in favor of LGBT “education” showed up to express their support. The two sides clashed at times with physical confrontations.
