Fulton County Clerk Che Alexander has spoken out after “accidentally” leaking the full indictment against former President Donald Trump and 18 others. She told Atlanta-based WSB-TV that she is “human” and simply clicked “send” instead of “save” by mistake, which published the full indictment to their website. The press immediately saw the document and published a story on it. The Clerk’s office rushed to delete the indictment from the website after the mistake was noticed. Then, another mistake was made when the office referred to the document as “fictitious.”
The leaked indictment was the exact same as what was officially released after the Grand Jury convened and voted. So, for the document to be referred to as “fictitious” was simply inaccurate. When asked about that particular decision, Che Alexander said that it made sense because there was no official stamp on it, therefore it was unofficial.
