A good samaritan noticed a woman being beaten at a gas station in the Atlanta, Georgia area and tried to intervene. The man just so happened to be at the gas station at about 2am on Candler Road which is in Dekalb County on the east side. He noticed a fight between a man and a woman in a car and took it upon himself to try and break it up. Unfortunately, the good samaritan was shot and killed by the abusive boyfriend. And the abuse “victim” drove off with the man in a vehicle. As of the writing of this article, the shooter has not been apprehended. Stories like this often give caution to potential good samaritans. Maybe intervening in a domestic dispute may not be worth it in the end.
