Prominent Philadelphia LGBTQ activist Kendall Stephens, age 37, has been charged with sexually assaulting two minors. The minors are both boys, one age 14 and the other age 9. Stephens, who identifies as transgender, allegedly told one of the boys that he would be locked up if he told anyone about the abuse. Stephens became an activist after a mob attack at his home in 2020 that he claims was anti-trans in nature. Stephens has been touted by area Democrats, including Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner.
Kendall Stephens has appeared on camera for a variety of reasons since that 2020 attack. A more recent incident was the death of his friend, Josh Kruger. Kruger was also an LGBTQ activist as well as a homeless advocate and a former drug addict. Kruger was shot seven times and killed in his home by 19-year-old Robert Davis. The teenager’s family says that 39-year-old Kruger began grooming Davis into a drug-fueled sexual relationship when Davis was only 15. The family also said that Kruger was threatening to blackmail Davis explicitly to make him perform certain sexual activities. Stephens was interviewed after Kruger’s death, crying outside of his home near the porch that was still bloody from the attack.
