The would-be Trump shooter Ryan Routh wrote a letter that could be called a “manifesto” in case he was unsuccessful with his mission. In the letter, he espoused his hatred for the former President. Routh wrote that Trump is unfit to be anything, let alone President. He also issued a “bounty” on Trump’s head, offering $150,000 to anyone who could “finish the job.” This letter was presented in federal court before the judge decided whether or not Routh would be granted bail. Bail is unlikely for Routh since all of the evidence points toward his intention being the assassination of Trump, despite him never firing a shot from the rifle at Trump International Golf Club.
