80-Year-Old California Liquor Store Owner Shoots Armed Robber

An 80-year-old man in Norco, California was faced with a dangerous situation when four armed robbers approached his liquor store at nearly 3 o’clock in the morning. One of the men entered the store with an AR-style rifle fully extended. As the man began to shout demands, the store owner responded with a single shot. The robber suffered a direct hit and frantically ran out of the store screaming “he shot my arm off!” All of the robbers in the vehicle that pulled up to the store sped off after the quick shot from the elderly man.

Surveillance footage shows the entire encounter from beginning to end. People from all around the area came by to support the elderly man for his bravery during the robbery. Unfortunately, the man did have a heart attack immediately after he shot the would-be robber. Local news reports that the man is doing much better and he should be able to give an interview soon. All four robbers have been caught. Three of them are in jail and the man who was shot will go to jail after he is released from the hospital.
