Media Say Trump Reversed Course On Mail-In Voting!

President Donald Trump gave an hour-long interview on Fox & Friends from 7:30 am to about 8:30 am on Wednesday, August 5th, 2020. The Fox & Friends host crew asked the President a variety of questions that ranged from Black Lives Matter (BLM), the virus, and mail-in voting.

Left-wing media had a conniption fit in response to the President’s answers as per usual. Some left media even called him a hypocrite due to his stance on mail-in voting which they say is different than his previous stance. The media says that Trump once railed against mail-in voting but then says Republican states do it better so it’s fine if they do it. But that’s not what he was saying.

Blue-state politicians and their counterparts in the media would like nothing more than to have universal mail-in ballots. Simply put, anyone who is registered to vote gets sent a ballot regardless of whether they requested it or not. And of course, it’s difficult to determine if a registered voter has died or moved, so plenty of ghost ballots will flood the streets. Fraud will happen as a result. There was a case in Georgia where a cat was mailed a voter registration form.

Absentee ballots are an entirely different situation. Registered voters must request a ballot and provide identification to prove who they are before they receive the ballot. This nearly eliminates on fraud and reduces the strain on the United States Postal Service (USPS). And by the way, USPS is struggling heavily at the moment due to the virus and a general lack of money. They are hanging on by a string and mail-in ballots would immediately snap the string.
